Ring in the New Year with EarthCam Live Online and Mobile Streaming

December 29, 2017 -- Join EarthCam for its annual New Year’s Eve international webcast on December 31st at 10am (ET). The party begins in Tokyo, then it’s off to Boracay, a beautiful island in the Philippines, followed by live views of the non-stop celebrations from exciting locations around the world including the UAE, France, Ireland, Jamaica and Brazil just to name a few.

Celebrations kick off in the U.S. at 6pm (ET) from Times Square with live 4K streaming video. Viewers will be transported to the “Crossroads of the World” with high resolution video and HD panoramas from over 10 different cameras with 26 angles. This year is the introduction of EarthCam’s exclusive Times Square Special, a programmed lineup of live cameras showcasing the stage performances, ball drop and fireworks. The special will enable viewers to feel like they’re actually in the center of it all, along with the one million people celebrating in the heart of New York City. EarthCam is proud to share this intriguing perspective of the most popular destination in the world, which has been viewed on EarthCam.com more than 127 million times over the last 5 years.

As the evening continues, watch the celebrations in New Orleans, Chicago, San Francisco, Kauai and more. Among the highlights of this year’s webcast will be brand new content from Nashville and Philadelphia, which will add to the already extraordinary lineup of U.S. locations.

Even after the ball has dropped and the 2,000 pounds of confetti have settled, there’s still plenty to see with the massive cleanup of Times Square. One of the most remarkable things viewers will have a chance to witness is the incredible effort it takes to clean up Times Square after the night of festivities. Watch as hundreds of sanitation workers remove more than 40 tons of debris scattered throughout the streets.

Ring in 2018 with EarthCam’s webcast on https://newyears.earthcam.com/ and EarthCamTV at www.earthcamtv.com. Make the webcast a part of your party with EarthCamTV apps available for Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. Spending the night away from a computer?
